X Factor is the most famous music talent show in the world: for its 6th italian edition in 2012, Sky asked We Are Social an activity to engage fans on social networks.
We created a multi-platform game to play before, during and after the show: during the week users had the chance to answer quizzes, polls and create their own fantasy team; while during the show the game acted as second screen either on Facebook and mobile devices, allowing users to vote talents, get news and participate with a real-time applause meter. Every single action gave points and badges to users, who could compete with their friends and win tickets for the live show every week.
I was in charge of the user interface design for the Facebook app, defining also the user experience and drawing the complete set of icons and badges.
